Con Edison Solutions completed several solar installations on four separate municipal buildings totaling 600 kw.
System size: 15.2kW. Recipient of Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Grant.
A 12 kW system was installed at this Woodbridge community center in 2011, followed by an Oct 2015 expansion to 18 kW. This non-profit continues to reduce electric bills thanks to assistance from the Connecticut Green Bank, private grants, and public donations.
This 247 kW municipal solar energy system was installed by Con Edison Solutions in May of 2016. With 900 solar panels on two school campuses, the town of Woodbridge expects to offset a significant portion of the energy demand. Thanks to the collaboration with the Connecticut Green Bank and their commercial lease program, Con Edison Solutions was able to help complete the project with municipal solar financing.
